Darrielle's 1st Teacher's Day is here..
It's really hardwork having to take care of so many children a day.. Incredible.. And Darrielle is very lucky to meet those kind, gentle and dedicated teachers at her childcare..
So, here's a little gesture of thanks to them!
Butter cookies! These are the easiest cookies you can make, and yet something everyone loves.. :D
Recipe:
Ingredients
225 g butter
200 g white sugar
1 egg
335 g all-purpose flour
2 g salt
10 ml vanilla extract
Directions
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Cover dough, and chill for at least one hour. Chill cookie sheets.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Press dough out onto ungreased, chilled cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly golden at the edges. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
Taken from:
I used Top flour instead of all purpose flour, and used up all 250gm of butter, so I just increase here and there of the ingredients..
Butter cookies before baking, decorated with darrielle's fingerprint n sprinkle of sugar~
Woot!
Packed into a bag of fives

Happy girl~
Happy Teacher's Day to all teachers!

Hi!
The inflatable pool is available at toy'r'us n kiddy palace.. Not difficult to deflate at all.. But unless u have very good lung capacity, it's wise to get a air pump to pump up the float too.. hahah!
Cheers
