Brought Darling to a real hairdresser on Friday to trim her hair.. Surprisingly, she remained quite still during the 2-3 mins hair cut.. Hahaa.. not bad for 1st try huh.. I was still worried that how is the hairdresser going to cut her hair with her twisting all around.. Went down later in the evening to get my fringe rebonded.. Cut my fringe on Tuesday night, it was horrendous.. I had fringe that looks like mane coz my hair was actually wavy based.. Thankfully after the rebonding, it looks neat enough again..
Met up with Huili for dinner at Northpoint last evening..
Wen to Yishun NLB, Darling is so fascinated with the 2 pieces of big Cheese there! She love it so much, she refuse to go away even with me dragging her!
Had dinner at the foodcourt.. After that shop around for a little while.. The girls play catching until crazy..
Anyway for me, i had a little accident this morning.. My left thumb got axed by a luncheon meat can lid.. Got a big wide cut.. It was quite an ordeal.. Beginning I was so stressed by the pain I start to go pale and giddy.. PUKE! At the GP's clinic, there is even more suffering.. The sterilising, stitching, injections, OMG.. I wanna scream, but all I could do was whimper into my elbow.. Had 6 stitches.. Hope the pain would go away soon.. :(

Certain is it that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter.
In love to our wives there is desire; to our sons, ambition;
but to our daughters there is something which there are no words to express.

What I wanted most for my daughter was that she be able to soar confidently in her own sky, whatever that may be.

"When we trust the makers of baby formula more than we do our own ability to nourish our babies, we lose a chance to claim an aspect of our power as women. Thinking that baby formula is as good as breast milk is believing that thirty years of technology is superior to three million years of nature's evolution. Countless women have regained trust in their bodies through nursing their children, even if they weren't sure at first that they could do it. It is an act of female power, and I think of it as feminism in its purest form."

If a multinational company developed a product that was a nutritionally balanced and delicious food, a wonder drug that both prevented and treated disease, cost almost nothing to produce and could be delivered in quantities controlled by the consumers' needs, the very announcement of their find would send their shares rocketing to the top of the stock market. The scientists who developed the product would win prizes and the wealth and influence of everyone involved would increase dramatically. Women have been producing such a miraculous substance, breastmilk, since the beginning of human existence. ----- Gabrielle Palmer
