Viewer's discretion: Those people who are not okay with breastfeeding breasts on blogs, please do not view the video.. If you view the video, please do not kpkb on my tagbox as it will only makes you looks like a fool.. ThankQ!

Had always wanted to share this videos with breastfeeding moms and mom-to-be(s) as I had benefited greatly from the videos.. The doctor in this video is Dr. Jack Newman and the original source of this videos is from http://www.thebirthden.com/Newman.html

The position of latching in this video shown is named the 'Asymmetrical Latch'.. I had tried this and have been using this position to get Darrielle to latch on.. It worked very well with me and Darrielle.. Strongly recommend others to try this position!

Note the conversation of Dr. Jack Newman as he talks about how hugh the damage(to sucessful breastfeeding) is when newborns were introduced to bottle in the early weeks.. Method of 'compression' is shown.. It helps baby gets to milk more easily.. It really works as when I do that, I can hear and see Darrielle swallowing swallowing alot.. Its helpful for the first few days after birth when milk is little, compression helps baby gets more colostrum.. When the real milk comes in, using compression helps baby gets to the fat rich hindmilk, which is important for baby's weight gain and makes baby feels fuller for longer..

Shows why is it important that baby's mouth is wide open to take in as much of the areola as possible when feeding.. ;)

And lastly, just wan to share a very amazing video on breastfeed initiation.. Showing how nature means of breastfeeding, that a newborn is capable of searching for the nipple for food through senses of smell, sight, touch.. Enjoy!
