i went to sleep at 12am last night.. juz right after watching the fireworks released by Woodlands MRT ppl.. no picture sorry.. i was in a state of blur, already laying comfortably in bed, when me and my mum heard the sound of fireworks explosion then we jump to our feet and run to the window to look at the fireworks.. i totally forgot about taking pictures.. hahahahah
seriously Year 2007 passed too quickly.. it felt like juz last month i celebrated my New Year 2007 with my API friends at the beach BBQ, and felt like juz last week that i celebrated my CNY 2007 with my best friends.. Maybe its because i'm already working full time, thus the days felt really short...
my New Year wish for 2008 is of coz firstly, the good health of my mum, my bro, and my girl.. Secondly, hopefully, by Year 2009, i would still be breastfeeding my little girl.. Thirdly, I wish that i would have shake off all my pregnancy weight and inches by the time New Year 2009 comes.. and lastly, maybe got a better job with better pay and better boss, if not, just let me strike TOTO once please.. hahaha.. and i also wish that my best friends can have their New Year wish comes true too..
So fast, its now less than 90 days to having Darrielle in my arms.. I'm sure she is as excited too.. But the thought of getting an episiotomy is really freaking me out.. reading about it, looking at its picture makes me freak out even more.. haiz..

Certain is it that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter.
In love to our wives there is desire; to our sons, ambition;
but to our daughters there is something which there are no words to express.

"When we trust the makers of baby formula more than we do our own ability to nourish our babies, we lose a chance to claim an aspect of our power as women. Thinking that baby formula is as good as breast milk is believing that thirty years of technology is superior to three million years of nature's evolution. Countless women have regained trust in their bodies through nursing their children, even if they weren't sure at first that they could do it. It is an act of female power, and I think of it as feminism in its purest form."

If a multinational company developed a product that was a nutritionally balanced and delicious food, a wonder drug that both prevented and treated disease, cost almost nothing to produce and could be delivered in quantities controlled by the consumers' needs, the very announcement of their find would send their shares rocketing to the top of the stock market. The scientists who developed the product would win prizes and the wealth and influence of everyone involved would increase dramatically. Women have been producing such a miraculous substance, breastmilk, since the beginning of human existence. ----- Gabrielle Palmer
